Verlane Aerial Photography was proud to work with Ipswich City Council and Rubidium Lighting in conducting light audits for well over 160 venues to ensure safety, consistency and fantastic community venues for use by clubs and public. The audits were conducted using a specialised rover that collects light data from the ground and Verlane Aerial Photography supplied the Inspire 2 for high quality night time images.

Many of the sports venues were under the influence of the local RAAF base, so working closely with the RAAF, Verlane Aerial Photography were able to get approvals to fly at all the sporting fields, even ones within the approach path to the RAAF base. All flying was done at night time, this called for the special Operators certificate that is held by Verlane Aerial Photography, with a night time exclusion clause to allow us to fly drones at night.
